Video conferencing

The Office of Information Technology provides video conferencing services to all of the University of Colorado campuses, as well as to numerous affiliate hospitals. Video conferencing allows two or more locations to communicate by simultaneous two way video and audio transmissions.

Video conferencing services are offered primarily through the use of dedicated systems. Often quality of video is higher via a video conference rather than a web conference. Request this “Videoconferencing and Event Recording” service here in EMS (from the My Home tab).

Web conferencing

Zoom is the university supported software for web conferencing. Zoom is a unified cloud based web and video conferencing platform that is offered by OIT as a self-service collaboration solution. Learn more about Zoom.

Live streaming or recording of events

OIT has the ability to live stream and/or record your events through our videoconferencing bridge. Request this “Videoconferencing and Event Recording” service here in EMS (from the My Home tab).

CU Anschutz Classroom support

Audiovisual support is available for course-related (free) and non-course-related (fee based) events. This includes help with multimedia equipment or software, such as Panopto, Zoom, DVDs, document cameras, PowerPoint presentations, audience response systems and other audio and video recording devices.

Request this “CU Anschutz - Audio Visual Equipment and Support” service here in EMS (from the My Home tab).

Please make your request through this system at least three days in advance of your event.

For additional questions regarding these services, please contact:

  • OIT-AVServices@cuanschutz.edu
  • Equipment checkout location: Education II North, 5th floor, P28-5124
  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday

More information about related fees.

By fiscal policy, outside agencies may schedule use of space on the Anschutz Medical Campus or in CU Buildings for events consistent with the University mission, but must have a co-sponsoring University Department to schedule their event.

All arrangements for the event must be scheduled by the Sponsoring Department and someone from the Sponsoring Department must attend the entire event. There is a packet of information that must be completed and the required documents returned before space or services can be confirmed. The Sponsoring Department must first submit a request for space and the packet will be provided if the space is available. Questions can be sent to OIT-SchedulingServices@cuanschutz.edu.
